About
I have spent the last twenty years working with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) to deliver training for apprenticeship programs and continuing education for current electrical industry professionals. My training philosophy heavily emphasizes real-world skills that translate to the Jobsite. I have worked with industry leaders from across the country and electrical contractors to develop training that eases pain points and promotes efficiency on some of the most complicated construction projects in the country. I have a wealth of experience working with organizations such as the International Code Council, the International Society of Automation, the Electrical Training Alliance, and the Indiana Electrical Code Update Committee. I work at the Electrical Training Institute, where I split my duties as a classroom instructor and learning management administrator/curriculum manager.
In addition to my technical training and education, I hold a Master Electrical License and various industry certifications, including those as an International Code Council Certified Electrical Inspector and Code Specialist, EPRI A + B + Test Administrator, ISA CCST Level 3, BICSI Technician, EVITP technician, and HILTI Certified Trainer. Throughout my career, I have focused on several areas of concentration, including process instrumentation, electrical theory, national electrical code, and motor controls.
